Thomas Maigaard (pronounced 'My-guard') has worked at
Leistico & Esch, PLLC since 2023.
Thomas received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa, where he was honored on the Dean’s List in three separate semesters. Thomas received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. While in law school, Thomas served as the Editor-in-Chief of the St. Thomas Journal of Law and Public Policy; a writing fellow for lawyering skills; received Dean’s Awards for sales law and negotiations; and made the Dean’s List in two separate semesters.
Thomas also clerked for Gary Leistico and Jayne Esch for multiple years and worked as an associate attorney at a law firm in St. Cloud. He has gained invaluable hands-on experience working with a variety of clients in agricultural, environmental, and criminal matters. Thomas diligently implements his experience and knowledge in his everyday practice. He works hard to bring matters to their best resolution in an efficient and cost-effective manner for his clients.
Outside of his practice, Thomas and his wife Molly are avid campers, fishers, hikers, and pickleball players.
